The star midfielder Played in a forward position out wide while also did plenty of dirty work. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance and dragged a shot high. Substituted towards the end for a teammate, his competition, after being booked. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his strike excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to stretch the play on the right but his crosses into the box varied in quality. Substituted late in the match. 6/10

The captain The difference-maker with his 77th and 78th goals at international level. The first a classic opportunist's goal and the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve with the national team stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him up top. Eight
