Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
